Guns and Laws

Should the U.S. have stricter gun control?My opinion to that question is yes because it is important to have strict laws to dangerous weapons.Do I hate weapons and guns? No, I do not, but I think we should have strict laws over dangerous things.  Some of the ways the laws can be stricter is by checking the record of the person who is buying the gun, amending the 2nd amendment, and keeping guns in a safe place.

People who are going to buy  the gun should always be checked.They should check his or her history so that we don’t sell a gun to a person who has a mental illness or to someone who just got out of prison for murder.  For example,on July 20, 2012,shooting occurred inside of a Century movie theater in Aurora, Colorado, during a midnight screening of the film The Dark Knight Rises. A gunman, dressed in tactical clothing, set off tear gas grenades and shot into the audience with multiple firearms, killing 12 people and injuring 70 others.

The 2nd amendment says we have the right to bear arms.I do agree with this, but you should only use your gun for protection.I also believe you should always keep your gun safe and not all over the place where people can’t get to them.

Family is one of the most important things you have in life.You want the best for them and for them to have everything they need.One of the most important thing you want is for them to have protection and for them to be safe.Some people have gun or weapons for protection.You should always have your guns in a case with a lock. You can’t risk someone committing suicide or your children playing with them.

My point is we should change some laws over guns like checking people who buy them, making some changes to the 2nd amendment, and protecting your family.  I do agree with people to have guns but you should always be safe with them.
